The Black Mage is one of the available classes for the Warriors of Light in the original Final Fantasy game, reappearing in different forms in several other installments of the series. They serve as a magic-based glass cannon class, having low endurance and no healing skills, made up by their powerful black magic, offense buffs and status effects.
